On April 22, Zhu Kaiguo, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Dezhou Municipal Committee and Mayor, went to the Citizen Hotline Reception Center to answer calls from the public, visited the Municipal Petition Center to receive visitors openly. He also supervised and coordinated the resolution of cases undertaken by leading officials at the municipal level. Shao Haohao, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Dezhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee, and Wang Shengqiang, Secretary General of the Dezhou Municipal People's Government, attended the event.
Zhu Kaiguo carefully listened to the public's appeals, made detailed inquiries, promoted on-site solutions, and required relevant counties, districts, and departments to assign special personnel to take charge, follow up on implementation, and earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people. He stressed the need to adhere to a problem-oriented approach, analyze and sort out each case one by one, adopt targeted policies by category, and properly address the reasonable demands of the people in accordance with laws and regulations. It is imperative to accelerate work progress. For cases with mature conditions and clear facts, immediate response and prompt handling should be realized. For those with complex circumstances and great difficulties, we should clarify the context and make progress in an orderly manner. We should attach importance to addressing both the symptoms and root causes, conduct mass work in a patient and meticulous manner, identify the crux of problems, and realize substantive resolution with every case fully settled. We should strengthen prevention at the source, improve the resolution mechanism, take the initiative to reach out to the people, keep abreast of social conditions and public opinions, and promptly resolve conflicts and disputes at the grassroots level and in the embryonic stage.
