On April 27, the reporter learned from the Information Office of Dezhou Municipal People's Government that the 2nd Northern China Vegetable, Fruit, Sugar, Liquor and Agricultural Products Trade Conference will be held in Dezhou from May 12 to 16.
This grand event is co-hosted by the China Vegetable Circulation Association and Heima Group. Its main venue is located at the Smart Cold Chain Logistics Fruit & Vegetable Wholesale Market of Shandong Heima Group, featuring an opening ceremony, on-site exhibitions and displays at the main venue, as well as a series of special docking activities. The exhibition at the main venue will remain open for five consecutive days, with seven major exhibition areas set up: fruits and vegetables, non-staple food, sugar and alcohol, condiments, grain and oil, livestock, poultry, meat and eggs, time-honored brands and specialty products, as well as e-commerce live streaming zones. It will showcase and facilitate transactions of high-quality agricultural products from Dezhou and other regions in Northern China.
The conference will feature five supporting activities. It will hold a centralized procurement matchmaking meeting for key enterprises to pre-match the intentions of suppliers and buyers and boost docking efficiency. It will convene a cooperation panel discussion between Heima Group and vegetable & fruit bases inside and outside the city, introduce investment promotion policies and advance market investment attraction. It will organize a group purchasing matchmaking meeting for Heima communities together with a product selection and store visiting campaign for Dezhou live-streaming influencers, so as to further integrate community group buying with live-streaming sales. It will hold a key signing and achievement release ceremony to fully showcase the conference outcomes and promote project implementation. It will set up a special exhibition of Southeast Asian characteristic fruits, showcasing popular varieties such as durian, mangosteen and mango, to present a high-quality fresh fruit feast.
Compared with the first session, this conference highlights institutional innovation featuring pre-matching and targeted docking in production and marketing connection. Pre-matching of procurement demands. Prior to the centralized procurement matchmaking meeting for key enterprises, exhibitors will be required to submit a list of high-quality products, while purchasers' procurement intentions will be collected in advance to complete supply-demand matching. In-depth negotiations will then be conducted directly at the meeting to improve docking efficiency. Long-term cooperative mechanism between bases and the market. During the conference, a cooperation panel discussion for fruit and vegetable bases will be held. Preferential policies including priority admission, discounted rent and stall subsidies will be offered to fruit and vegetable bases both inside and outside the city. Supported by full-chain services such as cold chain warehousing, logistics distribution, inspection and traceability, the conference will help shift cooperation from one-off participation to long-term settled operation. Integration of online and offline channels. During the conference, a community group buying procurement matchmaking meeting will be organized. Community group leaders will be invited to select products on-site and launch instant group purchases, helping exhibitors connect with community sales channels and build a three-dimensional production and marketing system combining exhibition docking and offline transactions.
Enterprises within Dezhou wishing to participate may register through the commerce departments of relevant counties and districts. Enterprises and exhibitors outside Dezhou can sign up by contacting the conference organizing committee. The event is open to all free of charge throughout the session with voluntary participation. Citizens and purchasers are welcome to visit the exhibition, make purchases and engage in exchanges on their own.
