At the end of 2018, Dezhou had 2,423 kindergartens with 17,500 faculty members and 220,000 children in kindergartens.  Dezhou has 707 primary schools with 27,000 staff and 417,000 students.  Dezhou has 163 junior high schools (Including 50 nine-year schools), with 19,000 teaching staff and 214,000 students. Dezhou has 24 ordinary high schools with 8,851 faculty members and 102,000 students. Dezhou has 27 secondary vocational schools with 3,702 staff and 51,000 students. Dzhou has 13 special education schools with 428 teaching staff and 2,183 students. Dezhou has 4 ordinary undergraduate and specialized colleges with 4,280 teaching and administrative staff and 63,700 students. The total number of students in the school reached 1,069,700.
