[Tourist Reception] In 2023, Dezhou had domestic tourism revenue of 21.664 billion yuan, growing by 68.88% over the previous year on a comparable basis (the same below); and it received 35.8466 million domestic tourists, growing by 65.87% over the previous year.

[Tourism Consumption Promotion] In 2023, Dezhou continuously improved the quality of consumption supply and enriched consumption scenarios. In January, a special meeting was held, and the Measures for Vigorously Promoting Cultural and Tourism Consumption in Dezhou were issued to promote cultural and tourism consumption in 10 aspects. Various activities promoting consumption were held, including ecological leisure, experiencing intangible cultural heritage, parent-child interaction, folk culture, food culture, and other cultural & tourism events (e.g., Decheng Music Festival at the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, and 2023 Kwai China Fishing Star Competition (Dezhou Station) in Daxuezhuang Village, Linqing District). A series of preferential policies were introduced, and the following activities were initiated: the spring tourism promotion in Dezhou, the Dezhou consumption promotion year (the 7th Cultural & Tourism Consumption Season), and special beneficial consumption coupons. A-class tourist attractions were encouraged to offer free admission, and 43 of the 60 tourist attractions waived the first admission fee. The "camping + tourism" model was innovatively launched to establish 30 distinctive leisure camping sites under the new tourism trend within a short period, becoming a new growth point for tourism in Dezhou in 2023.

In 2023, cultural & tourism consumption coupons amounted to 3.95 million yuan were issued at the municipal and county levels, generating a total consumption of 11.9571 million yuan.

[Integration of Culture and Tourism] In 2023, Dezhou closely followed the national strategies and seized the opportunity of the construction of the Yellow River and Beijing-Hangzhou Canal National Cultural Parks to connect the "Yellow River and Beijing-Hangzhou Canal National Cultural Parks and hold events such as the (Dezhou) Forum of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal National Cultural Park, building a new urban card of "Great Dezhou · Lucky Canal". The typical Qihe section of the Yellow River National Scenic Byway was included in the list of typical sections of the Yellow River National Scenic Byway (Shandong) for 2023; the Quancheng Oulebao Resort was selected as one of the second batches of Sports Tourism Demonstration Bases in Shandong; and Qihe Yellow River International Eco-city was included in the list of potential ecological tourism areas in Shandong for 2023.
